I use a combination of edible and non-edible decorations on some of my cakes. For this cake the Pokemon figures are not edible, but that made my son even more happy because now he can play with them and keep them forever. I also used a combination of vanilla icing and fondant to create the habitats for each of the Pokemon as they wished Aiden a Happy 8th Birthday!

I wish all of my pictures were as clear as the ones above, but as my other skills have improved so have my photography skills... lol... Below are some pictures of pictures of cakes that I have done that showcase some of my favorite work over the years. Though there are some I still haven't found pictures of I hope you enjoy the one's I have found so far and I know you will love the cakes I have coming up over the next couple of months.
I did this cake for my cousin with a fluffy vanilla icing and drew Pikachu free hand and smoothed the icing to fill the design.
