Making Money Online

If you want to make money online there are a lot of different ways to go about it. Here is a list of my top 4!

1.)  WAH Positions:  You can turn your home office into a "virtual call center" and do Customer Service or Tech Support just the same as you would in a call center, just from the privacy of your home.  The biggest advantages of this type of opportunity are no commute, a steady income, and sometimes even employee benefits.  The biggest disadvantages are you are not the boss, most of these positions involve holidays, nights and weekends, and you have a set schedule to adhere to.  With so many scams out there it can be hard to figure out what companies hire Work-at-Home agents, but I have found two websites that have been very reliable WAHM.com  and  Workathomemoms.about.com.  Both of these sites let you search by the state you live in and give you a list of companies that have virtual agents in your area.  Being a WAH agent for HSN for over 2 years has been my favorite job so far and it made me sad to leave the company when we moved, but if you live in one of their approved regions it is a great company to work for.  I enjoyed that position so much that I am pursuing similar positions, but also hoping to expand on my blog for some extra income too.

2.) Blogging:  This one can be a little more tricky, but I am learning the ropes and hope that one day my blog will be able to supplement our household income.   The easiest way to make money with a blog is advertising other websites and companies.  The way it works is you set-up your blog with advertisements and links in the posts that direct potential customers to the companies you are promoting.  Each time a new unique customer clicks on an ad or makes a purchase after clicking on an ad you get credit for the referral or sale.  So far I have not made much money this way, but I am still learning about affiliate marketing and how to get credit for featuring companies that I strongly support.  With that being said, if one of the advertisements on my page catches your eye, please take the time to click it and check it out.

3:)  E-bates:  I have been using E-bates.com since 2009.  This is a great way to get cash back on purchases you were going to make anyways.  This allows your money to work for you.  I have made it a habit to check e-bates website for promotions any time I shop online and really enjoy when they send money directly back to my paypal account and they even offer referral bonuses.  So if you haven't created your ebates account yet, just click on one of these links to get signed up and start earning cash back today!

4:) Swagbucks:  This is another one of my favorite websites.  On Swagbucks.com you earn points for searching, watching videos, using coupons, signing up for trials and services, reading excerpts from new books, playing games and even taking their daily poll.  Once you have collected enough points you can trade them in for gift cards to popular stores like Amazon and Starbucks, you can get $$ deposited into your paypal account, or you can choose one of the various prizes they have in their Swag Store.  My favorite prize has been the $5 Amazon gift card for just 450 points, otherwise each point seems to be worth about a penny.  Though this site has not brought me substantial income, it has helped me to save up for Christmas and Birthday presents throughout the year.  I encourage everyone to register with Swagbucks and start earning points today, sometimes it is surprising how fast they can add up.

So far these are the best legitimate ways I have found to make money online, though I have tried many many other sites.  There are a lot of scams out there and before posting anything on my blog I verify that it works and is legitimate.  I hope you have enjoyed this article and found it helpful.
