Getting ready for the craft show!

I have been working hard to create new and beautiful crafts to help Mom fill her table for the first craft show she has worked in many years.  Above is a second sashay scarf done in Hokie colors.

I have also been working on Spider ornaments in recognition of German and Ukraine folklore about how we came to have tinsel to decorate our trees.  Legend of the Christmas Spider.  So far I have finished 3 of the 6 spiders I want to have done and then it will be onto the next project Mom has lined up. :)

More Pictures from Thanksgiving!!

My sister loves DIY projects and her latest toy is a pasta maker.  She has been enjoying making pasta with a little less effort than before.  Mom loved this and seemed to want one too... Christmas present idea coming right up!

Barb also has a wide array of animals, these are a couple of her cows :)

The horses are in the background... they were smart and stayed out of the path of the dirt bike as the guys enjoyed riding it thru the field.  The were having so much fun that they all willingly sacrficed an afternoon of hunting to ride.

It took awhile of talking, but William and Thomas finally talked their way onto the bike and got to take a turn too.

William was aprehensive at first, but quickly found his bearings and confidence.
