Since our latest batch of chicks has gotten big enough to mix into the flock I was able to move the water tray over to the ducklings area. Baby ducks are able to swim as early as soon as their feathers fluff out, but they tire easily and can drown if the water is too deep and it is too hard to get out....so to make sure the babies can have fun in the water Mom got a shallow tray that is about 2-2.5 inches tall and about a 24" square. They really enjoyed getting in the water and cheeped up a storm talking all about it! I hope you enjoy this little video and have a great day!
