On Tuesday night we enjoyed a really nice Cub Scout Graduation Carnival! Our lone Bear Scout from the Pack put on a fun carnival for the other Scouts to enjoy as part of his Bear adventure and it was so much fun I can't wait till we get to do it in the coming year! We had a nice pot luck dinner at the beginning of the meeting, followed by awards and then carnival games and popcorn! Aiden was excited to receive his remaining belt loops...
...and was also one of two Scouts in the Pack to earn the Cub Scout World Conservation Award! Our conservation tree planting project was a hit and the trees we planted are doing really well! I am looking forward to watching them grow over the next few years and showing Aiden how our hard work paid off!
Best of all was Aiden getting his Wolf Badge and getting to pin my new Mother's Pin on my uniform shirt! Congratulations on completing another Cub Scout Adventure Aiden...I am looking forward to starting our new adventure soon!
There were games to toss balls at stacked cans and through a hole, balloons to hit blindfolded, sling shot shooting to be done and more! All of the kids had a blast and the adults even joined in for some of the fun too!
Pack 30 has become an extension of our Cub Scout family that will continue to grow this year as we prepare to move from Bedford to Christiansburg....We have enjoyed our time with Pack 30 and I would like to thank everyone involved for taking us in and treating us like part of the family from the start! Aiden is looking forward to seeing Mr. Richard again at Day Camp later this month and hopefully we will get to meet our new Pack soon too!
