For three years now, Aiden and I have enjoyed going to the Touch-a-Truck event held at Greenhill Park in Salem, VA. This year it was July 28th and we went from 11am - 1pm and had a blast!!!
We started our adventure with a Hay ride around the park. We even got to see the lifeguard 10 helicopter land and Aiden was able to climb in and strap into one of the seats!!!
We walked around and Aiden climbed in and out of all sorts of cars, trucks and even a pirate ship!
Once Aiden spotted the Fire engine creating a giant mud puddle and the bubble pit it was on. He headed straight in the direction of cool entertainment.
Aiden had to have run back and forth from the bubbles to the mud puddle at least 10 times !!!
He didn't have enough until he finally got buried in the bubbles over his head.
He told me the next day that his most favorite part of the day was when I rescued him from the bubbles that were making his eyes hurt. He really knows how to melt my heart.
He got to spin a wheel at one booth and won a $150 birthday package at a local Karate studio and he is super excited!!! It will be nice to be able to give him his own party next year!!!
What an awesome BMW!!!
There was even a petting Zoo!!!
And there was even a pirate ship and real helmets and such to play with and try on!!!
We can't wait until next year!!!! What an amazing FREE community event!!!
