Last night we had a long albeit interesting Cub Scout meeting thanks to a special visitor from the Bedford History Museum. She taught us all about the history of Bedford County VA from the time it was founded in 1754 and before to present day. She brought some historical items to show us including old year books, an old football helmet, a really old really big gun, an old radio and more. Plus she brought pictures of places around Bedford from the 40's-50's and 90's to 2000's and had us match the old to the new picture. It was a little difficult for the adults too, but made it through and earned two Wolf requirements for "Council Fire." That gets three of my wolves just one requirement away from earning their Wolf rank! I am so proud of all of them for their hard work!
