Mom and I have been working on moving her garden and making it taller since last Fall. Today we finished filling in the back bed with a layer of compost we have been working on since August and moved the tires in for the potatoes.
The cages are to protect the asparagus we transplanted yesterday from the chickens and ducks until we can get the garden finished complete with it's own fence and fix the electric fence. For now they are helping to scratch up the compost and fertilizing it as they go. :)
Our youngest hens are enjoying the new roost we gave them when we pulled one of the rabbit cages out of it's stand...
...and beside the new roost is where we are going to move the rabbit and Quail feed buckets to, we just have to get the roof figured out and we will be all set!
Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy all day so I will have to find some good indoor projects, but there are plenty of them to do too. I think I will start the day by finishing that darn shawl that has been on my loom for way too long... Lol
